BICSI is a professional association supporting the information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure industry, which covers voice, data, electronic safety & security, audio/video, and other technologies. It encompasses the design, integration and installation of fibre-, copper- and wireless-based systems and infrastructure that supports the transportation of information amongst connected devices.
Globally, BICSI provides information, education and credentials to over 23,000 ICT designers, installers and technicians. Through courses, conferences, publications and professional credentialling, BICSI assists ICT professionals deliver critical products and services, while facilitating continual improvement and enhanced professional stature.
BICSI South Pacific provides members access to resources and education tailored to our region (legislation, regulations, standards, industry norms, etc). This enables members to deliver quality ICT infrastructure within the requirements mandated by local regulations. Through local events, ICT professionals have also formed connections with other professionals, promoting industry development, while local training enables career advancement while enhancing value to industry.
